Shetland Pony in the Buttercups
Buttercups and a storm blowing, not a great combination for this little Shetland pony, trying to eat his way through a field of buttercups.
The hair just kept getting in the way of a good munch.
Is it me or does it seem really unfair of nature to allow a small pony, living in a remote and wild island with extended storm periods to evolve to have the most amazing and extensive mane that keeps getting in the way!
Surely a pony evolving on the Shetland Islands would have a trim and blow proof mane...
